San Marcos, home of the lazy San Marcos river, came in at No. 10, boasting a 32.8 hour work week and a low 3.40 percent unemployment rate. Georgetown came in at No. 7, thanks to their low population density and high employment rate. Cedar Park came closest to the top with a No. 5 ranking. The town was praised for it’s many parks (as the name would imply), large variety of yoga studios and close proximity to Austin.
